De-Clutter Pro is owned and operated by Michael McGrath, a San Diego Native! Michael has always had a passion for creating organized and functional spaces. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to helping others simplify their lives, he founded De-clutter Pro to provide professional decluttering and organization services tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Michael believes that an organized home leads to a more peaceful and productive life. Whether it’s transforming a cluttered garage, optimizing a small living space, or tackling large-scale organizational projects, he takes pride in making the process stress-free and rewarding. His approach is hands-on, practical, and always judgment-free, helping clients regain control of their spaces with sustainable systems that last.

When he’s not decluttering, you can find Michael enjoying the outdoors, hiking with his dog, exploring local San Diego spots, or spending time with friends and family.

What does your de-cluttering service include?

Our service includes sorting, organizing, and decluttering your space based on your needs. We help you decide what to keep, donate, recycle, or discard, and we provide practical storage solutions to maintain an organized home. Please refer to our Guidebook to have a better understanding of our process.

How can I know my personal belongings are safe?

DCP will only work directly with clients and their own belongings, refusing third-party requests. Handling valuable items, like family heirlooms or memories, requires great care, and we will not accept work that could harm the client or damage items or relationships. In addition, we maintain confidentiality with our customers. Please Refer to our Confidentiality Agreement for more info.

What are your service areas?

DCP is currently servicing the greater San Diego Area. Get in touch to see if your location is in our service area!

What areas of the home do you organize?

We organize all areas, including kitchens, closets, bedrooms, bathrooms, garages, home offices, and pantries. Check out our services section for a more detailed look. 

Do I need to be present during the decluttering process?

It’s up to you! Many clients prefer to be involved in decision-making, while others trust us to organize on their behalf with minimal oversight.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Venmo. Payment is required upon completion of the session.
